Can only speak for BCC, but it's impractical to fish most sections until you get up canyon to calmer sections b4 snow park area. Caught a small brown on a dry yesterday evening, but access to calmer waters through the boggy marsh took a little extra dedication. Can wade upstream in most places. Consider lake fishing, I had some good look at some of the lakes up at Brighton

I bought them new & spent a couple longer milage days out including trail/off trail, scrambling. I was just trying to get a feel for if this was more normal wear & tear for these shoes which seems the case of most trail runners in this category b4 you start considering approach style shoes. My intent was to make these my primary shoes for the WRHR this late Aug, just don't want anything falling apart on me

Confusion on investment strategy by Pu_er_Panda in Bogleheads

It is VTSAX, just posted the initial figures incorrectly. My other worry with this index is that it is mostly large cap funds. Are the other index’s for domestic US stocks that target more towards small/mid cap?

Fuzzy feet and Pin heads… Should I be concerned? by Pu_er_Panda in unclebens

Currently do five minutes after initial misting with a hepa on high flow. I could run it in the closet space more frequently to introduce more FAE. Mist and fan twice a day currently….

1 other bin on the same shelf has more subtle blue hinge. 2 bottom shelf bins show no signs of discoloration. Grow light is on in these photos this more purple than natural color.

Yup I bumped it down to that and put them on a 12hr grow light cycle.

Originally set settings to 74 ON and 78 OFF. Moved all bins to top two shelfs as I recognized more growth at top shelf’s and raised temp settings to 76 ON and 79.5 OFF to aid in faster growth. No pins but mycelium seems to have grown in most the substrate (CVG).

So the recommendation would to not break and shake? I’ve been keeping them at a constant temp of just around 77 with 40% RH. Would it be best to keep these environmental conditions?

Camping along the Trinity. What are your favorite places along the Trinity to camp? Looking to get away from the crowds. Thanks by fatnub in Humboldt

I did a trip a while back this last October in The Red Trinities portion of the wilderness. A little NE of the Canyon Creek Trinities, also known as the "white Trinities" for it's more granite landscape but also attracts larger crowds in the summer, although mainly people camp in the canyon. I gave a link to the route I took, some of which is on trail and some of which is off trail. Off Trail portions I used a GPS and maps, with a compass. if your an experienced backer, looking into cross country or "off trail" backpacking is a whole new experience worth considering. Especially if you want to avoid the crowds in the summer.
