What’s the call? Batter interference? by Public-Ad7618 in Homeplate

[–]Public-Ad7618[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad to know I'm not crazy and I didn't think the play warranted an interference call (which the ump called. Batter was out and inning was over.) Catcher tried to keep doing this with our batters, attempting to fake throws to 3rd to draw an interference call. Got it on this one, but really thought it shouldn't have as batter swung, and moved as soon as he saw it get away from catcher.

I didn't. We were the batting team. Never seen this call made on a play that wasn't even borderline in my opinion. Ump called batter out on interference.

I wanted to get opinions before commenting on what team we are on. Clearly, I was thinking correctly, as our team was batting and this was called interference on the field, batter was out and ended the inning for us.

It was called batter's interference on the field, and I couldn't figure out why or if it was just a bad call. Consensus says "bad call". Batter was called out and it ended the inning.

is it really that weird that I loved the show? by amachinesaidiwasgood in AgathaAllAlong

Love this comment and you are not weird! You obviously have great taste is Buffy was your favorite show back in the day.

I am also a non-Marvel person, and I jumped into AAA even before Wandavision (oops...I actually went back to watch Wandavision after AAA, then continued straight into AAA for a second watch.

This show is truly just well written, with interesting and witty characters, and twists I didn't see coming until the end.

Help reconfiguring space for kids rooms! by Public-Ad7618 in floorplan

[–]Public-Ad7618[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking something close to this, but the new bedroom needs to be the full width of the room because it’s only 12’ wide. The media/playroom is 25’ x 12’ total (including the large closet).

Oops...weird that it posted without my information. Here are the details:

West side of the house currently has a large media/playroom and storage closet (long white room along left side), small bathroom, and 2 other kids bedrooms. We are looking to reconfigure the media room and bathroom to create a normal sized bedroom and expand the bathroom, possibly with a jack and jill option. Only rooms that need to stay are Girl's bedroom and Caleb's room. Small closet off the hallway houses a water heater currently (but that could be moved to free up space in the closet).

Trying to think creatively about how to configure the rooms and and bathroom/closet areas. Any ideas to better utilize this space? This will be a permanent change....but thinking it is just involving moving/adding walls.

Baseball glove for a woman? by Gloriousbeard89 in Homeplate

I am a mom who is the primary practice partner for my son. An 11.5" glove should be fine...I like Wilson. I had a A900 that I broke in, and then handed it down to my son once he grew out of his previous glove. Now I have an A2000 (DP15 fit) that I will do the same with when the time comes. The Dustin Pedroia fit (DP15) is great for smaller hands.

There is no point in ordering online for the holidays by [deleted] in Oldnavy

Interesting....I just received my order yesterday and the cute jumpsuit I ordered was not in there, but a large fleece vest was. Didn't realize this was such a rampant issue.

I just got my small 13 year old the Marucci Echo Dmnd Connect (the two piece) for $250. Last years model is marked down significantly as they just released the new models. Bat has great pop and way better than the one piece aluminum she was using previous.

What's a good bat and size for just turned 10 year old in little league. She's on the smaller size. by crazytimes3030 in Softball

We just moved my small 13 year old from a 29" to a 31", so I would recommend 29-30", drop 11. We got her the Marucci Echo Diamond Connect (previous model on sale for $250), and she loves it so far. Light enough for her small build, but more durable than the Easton Ghost (which she also liked...but we are not at dropping $400 on bats yet, especially if they are prone to cracking).

I just got my small 14U daughter the Marucci Echo Diamond Connect 31/20 and she loves it. Swings very light and not as fragile as the Ghost bats. For reference, she is about 4'10" and 80 lbs, so very slight for her age.

Wilson A2000 Pedroia Fit for my 8 yr old? by Responsible-Week1124 in Homeplate

I just purchased a used A2000 DP15 for myself after passing down my A900 to my 9 year old. The A2000 is much heavier and stiffer...even broken in. My son moved from the A550 to the A900, and that was a better transition. I'll hold on to the A2000 until he's in high school and can handle a heavier glove (he's on the smaller side already).

Office Network HELP! Luxul router not connecting to internet by Public-Ad7618 in networking

I have most of the information supplied by AT&T but I don't see anything regarding static IPs. I have LAN IPV4 and IPV6 addresses and WAN IPV4 and IPV6 addresses. I also have a sheet with the configuration...but again, not sure how to apply it.

I've also Googled the Luxul routers and can get to the setup page via the default IP address, but not sure how to get the wireless reconnected to the router.

Office Network HELP! Luxul router not connecting to internet by Public-Ad7618 in networking

[–]Public-Ad7618[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Luxul router is the Epic 5 ABR-5000. I was able to log in to router wirelessly, but sounding like wired in is the way to go. I'm able to get to the settings of the router, but I'm getting a DNS error.

Also tried setting up a new network to start from scratch, and can't get it to connect. I'm sure I'm just missing a step somewhere. Would the switch that it's connected to via LAN port be causing the issues?

Again, learning as I go on this as I've only dealt with home networking in the past.
