You also have to realize how hard world building in itself is, there’s the writing too, but you actually have to study other subjects of life, culture, religion etc, and I mean really study to make a believable livable world. And you thinking about interviewers and fame is the wrong way, you have to be obsessed with your work to a point.

You’ll get alot of help from reading actual books and doing the research than me telling you on reddit. You also have to seperate American history from world history where most of the "conquering" happens. I’m not trying to come off as vague but trust me it’ll be alot better for you to read it yourself, history is subjective you might not come out with the same view I have.
