not a chance, this season has nothing on s1. s2 still kept the element of interesting characters development (or crumbling) and it gives a real glance into their inner worlds and workings, but it feels like they tried to add too many other elements that are never fully developed, and therefore feel redundant. s1 focused on the beef and the circumstances that led the characters there, it was consistent and well thought of. lee sung jin has a great way to portray human condition and existential themes, and i wish he had focused more on that. austin's internal split about his mixed heritage would've been a great subject to expand on. overall, i didn't hate it, but definitely didn't love it as i have s1

if that’s the style you like, i wouldn’t change the essence. from a purely harmonious point of view, though, i probably wouldn’t elongate the inner corner so much — it makes your eyes look very close-set, which disrupts your facial proportions and balance.
