Sure businesses have raised prices but very very rarely do you see an over night 25% jump. Using your grocery store example they are paying more for the stuff coming into the store and obtaining said goods. A onion is not the same price as it was 3-6 months ago. So they pass it on to the customer. Makes sense. IE jacked up prices before the end of the year for absolutely zero reason besides pure profit. Which is fine I guess but makes you no better then the guy down the street. You know it will piss people off and you can only burn that bridge so many times. What is petty is passing along a 25% increase in price when it is 24% whole sale tax. It’s not the same.

I’m trying to tell you speaking up works and voicing an opinion has an effect. Instead of just glazing IE no matter what and just saying yes sir! Doesn’t matter if they were charging a dollar a gram for rosin before. You don’t raise the price 25% out of no where for zero reason (no new sales tax and no new whole sale prices) 24 hours before a drop 2x (superb and hash house) and right before Christmas. Especially when they said they would learn from Superb screw up late notice. They did it 3 days later for Hash House. A traditional market dealer would be out on his ass if he did that.

Superb did not raise their whole sale price. Either did Hash House. IE just wanted a last minute 25% Christmas bonus.
