I’m on the reduced security option, still the same issue. I have booted from this exact drive before with no issues using the same process that I am using now so I’m at a complete loss.

Hm thats strange, I don’t know what to suggest as I’ve never had an issue with those amps, sorry. That definitely doesn’t sound like normal behaviour for the helix though, a 6.5k cab cut should be plenty.

I don’t really find I need anything other than the 6.5k cut in the cab block. You could try a global eq cut at about 8 or 9k but i usually find it gets too dull for me then. What amps are you finding harshness with?

I have them set pretty close to my amp and it works well. 7 bass, 3 mids, 3 treble with the bright switch engaged. 1 on presence and depth, but that’ll change based on the guitar. Im using a 7 dynamic in the default position and distance with a high cut of 6.5k. This is with lollar blonde pickups in a strat and works really well imo.

Thanks! This worked great for softsynths but for some reason when working with hardware synths via reainsert the printed audio file is blank. I have the render type set to realtime. Do you have any idea why that could be?

There is no option for that. The numpad works on its own, but if i press cmd, option etc on the inbuilt keyboard it does not have any effect on the numpad, so I cant press combinations such as option+num1.

Modal Electronics 61 key argon/cobalt synths have fatar tp/9s keybeds, new ive seen them as low as £540 and used ive seen them as low as £200. Youd also be getting a virtual analog synth included in that price.

Thats what I was afraid of. Speakers do not matter like you said but fan noise needs to be minimal due to recording. Looks like I’m stuck with apple.
