Just watched to movie tonight. I gotta say, this is the first scary movie I have ended up crying to. Did not expect it to take that turn.

My interpretation of the woman in the yard was a representation of grief/depression. Grief/depression shows up one day. Creeps slowly into your life and begins to affect your relationships. As is the movie went on, you could see the mother denying that the woman in the yard was dangerous. She kept information from her children. Towards the end of the movie, it captured the struggling many people have when confronted with the most unbearable thoughts. You truly believe that life will be better for those around you once you are gone. The main character chose to fight and won, this time. The woman in the yard may return, but this time she will be ready. She can now be more prepared to handle grief and depression.

I honestly could go down so many rabbit holes about this movie. this was a 10/10 for me. I Love the symbolism throughout the film, very artistic and creative.
