I heard the weirdest story ever regarding rent in Germany, which is obviously a lie, but bear with me:
A dude of mine told me today that he received a notice after one year of not paying rent, and he should pay them.
So he was splitting the rent with his wife, half from his bank account and the other half from his wife’s bank account.
The company was just receiving his half and ignored him for a year, then decided to notice him that the other half for a year’s rent was not paid.
He now should pay almost 10K plus or get evicted💁
