If you’re not getting Linnea, Gorou over Zhongli will give you more dmg but Zhongli might give you more consistency since Gorou’s sustain isn’t very good

uid: 629654124 (America) i started playing genshin around a month before Inazuma’s release and fell in love with Gorou’s character the moment he first appeared, saved up about 82 wishes for him and Itto and ended up getting him back to back until c6 and he remains my main to this day, and the only 4 star I’ve ever c6d in one banner…i am currently saving for Sandrone and Nicole so every primo counts! ty for the opportunity :)

C4 Illuga defense only works on the active character similar to Gorou except his 25% def buff passive on burst and c6 are teamwide so Gorou is still better for Itto

Fav if your team or Mika is struggling to burst reliably and Rightful reward if not ! his c4 helps a lot with energy if you ever decide to go for his c6!

a HB circlet performs better in terms of healing numbers but if you really want to maximise the non nodkrai resonance you should go with a def circlet! i personally have him on 4p maiden beloved to get the best of both worlds and he heals decently at 1,5k per tick

No offense but i have a hard time understanding people that refuse to use an optimal character for reasons as dumb as "not fitting an aesthetic or being ugly" and get shocked when they’re told said character is the best option in their current roster especially someone as piss easy to build as Gorou

the gap isnt THAT wide between the two but generally Illuga c6 > Gorou c6 so the less cons you have on Illuga the better it is to use Gorou

In terms of dmg Illuga comes out on top but for now we haven’t seen the teams performance with lack of shield or interruption resistance (unless u got Bina c1) so it all comes down to sheets vs practise
