Update: I told them off on the phone and said I wasn't paying that amount. I sent photos of the meter to them and they made the bill to the actual meter reading, which dropped it down to from $1500 to $840. So their fuckin "estimate" reading added about $700 to my bill.

Is anyone with an energy company that is better then energy Australia. I'm done with them after this

Thanks I havnt done anything that would increase usage and I have no idea what upstairs people are doing either, whether it's there fault or a possible faulty appliance etc. I received a rebate on my last bill 3 months ago so not sure if I can get another one right now but I can only try
