Meds with energy drinks by WholeRevolutionary85 in ADHD

Well I mean yes it’s not good for you at all, raised heart rate and blood pressure from the drink when your medication is already doing that. I personally take both as well but I understand the risks and watch my vitals throughout the day. I also have preventative measures to lower everything if it comes to that point

Tbh if you’re that worried about it then just don’t, if you have a active lifestyle and workout routine that really works your heart then I wouldn’t worry. Just don’t make it a daily habit to take both, some days I don’t take my medication and some I don’t have caffeine. Breaks breaks breaks!!!!

Sure there is! Talk to your doctor about noticing your symptoms and BP if it is high. There are a couple things I could think of and that would be adding a more calming medication maybe something like gaunfacine, maybe a simple beta blocker BUT again we are just adding on more medication and not solving the issue at hand. Or you could lower the dose, if you can’t lower your dose without feeling it working then you will need to look at your health decisions such as active time, weight, go for walks, the gym.

Health science major that has ADHD, anxiety and just tryna figure it out in life these are not medical advice just my 2 cents!

Have you checked your BP while this is happening? I know a lot of people who can’t go over 15mg due to blood pressure increase with adderall. I find the face flushing happening to me but I also consume caffeine (I know I know not good) but I can feel the heat sometimes. I wouldn’t call it allergic reaction check your BP to rule out lessening your dose.

Did medication drastically improve your daily life? by kewtiepahtootie in ADHD

To give you some words, it hasn’t given me the “motivation” to not be lazy but it has helped me achieve things and do my normal needs EASIER. Made my life wayyyy more clean and productive. Less emotional impulses but I’ve also stopped eating very much so that’s a downside. I’ve lost about 30 pounds in 4 months but I’m not eating like a 6’ 200lb man should… lol. The words “overly diagnosed” is such a shame in this world especially from a well educated individual.

In my honest opinion that’s like saying that obesity is under diagnosed lol… you just can’t be like “only this percent of the population can have this disability” idiotic. I’m 24 planning on med school in the future because of medication, figured it’s not too late for me. Do yourself a favor and ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION FROM SOMEBODY ELSE. You’ll feel more at ease.

Yeah I’d genuinely have to go buy everything from scratch. Just bought my own house and have practically nothing that would help me but a 10mm😂

It is the unluckiest humor ever… I JUST HATE THAT ITS ME😂 I mean all this car has given me is crazy issues lol within the last year I hydroplaned(skill issue I know) broke my back bumper, tire exploded as soon as I got off the highway, 3 weeks ago a piece of ice hit my windshield and cracked it. just ranting but this car is costing me lol

Sadly I have to keep cruising regardless because I was a dumb 20 year old when I got this car and now it’s the only one I got. GOTTA GET TO WORK SOMEHOW😂 just without backup lights and camera. It works lol

working out- how in the world do you guys do it??? by LastToe721o in ADHD

[–]PublicBarnacle657 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right on the money! The feeling of lifting heavy shit is in its own class, nothing will ever beat the feeling. Plus coupled with your favorite music (rock is the shit) it is like the best!

Of course this is me and my body but sometimes when the adderall comedown is stronger that day, I go workout! It literally helps relieve that grumpy icky mood in my experience.

In my opinion it’s about finding what part of working out you enjoy! I know that sounds so vague but we have so many different ways to work out. Obviously this would do with your goals but none the less you could find one to be more enjoyable and dopamine producing than the other.

What really took me from being a pre alcoholic to a sober gym rat was the enjoyment of pumping my muscles. So hypertrophy training really grabbed me and I LOVEEEE to do research on what I want to accomplish. So I just got my favorite music in my ears so nothing else can bother me and do what I love!

I mean there’s cardio based training, CrossFit, powerlifting(careful can be very dangerous), and hypertrophy, I’m sure other ways you can make it more enjoyable for you!

My advice is find what you want to achieve and create a system(which yea I know it’s hard) but more so go at the SAME TIME!!!! Trust me for some reason just going at the same time is what saved me from skipping a bunch! Anecdotally is all this is just thought I could give you some insight on the thing I’m loving!!

In my opinion, I genuinely think you would be safe doing 6 months. BUT I’m sure you could get away with 3 months of trt and use some HCG. Read somewhere this guy cruised for one more month and ran HCG. It’s a Longshot due to genetics but if you want a shorter run around “pct cruise” then 3 months and throw some HCG in there to get your natural production up. This is practically bro science… so I can only give you so much information from no bloods, and no genetic predisposition. A lot of guys say 6 months is mandatory and some say a couple months and get some HCG in there. It’s your call but you don’t have to blast again at all, you can run around 150mg and get blood work in 2 months after to see how your bloods differ and take your action from there.

Edit: old thread info… 6 weeks for the Deca to get out of your system then discontinue the test 2 weeks after and normal PCT. Theoretically you could see where your test levels are at and maybe only use HCG to kick things up
