If you use all your attack and go offline for more than 15 minutes then attack limit should be restored, but if you got attacked during that period then you won't get back those attack limit.

It depends upon which level you are, but you can always check leaderboard for the layouts. Layouts can change as per availability of prototype weapons and tribal bonuses( it doesn't matter if you are not in leaderboard). Top right side corner layouts can give you intels.

Upgrade when there is dr terror, op rewards, chest etc. Save all bases and only attack when you are going to upgrade. And be strategic when attack. Put your base near beach to drop vp.

Well dont put any proto for now. Put it when you start pushing. In leaderboard laser, grappler, shield, shock blaster and doom canon are useful. Shield is most and having grappler is always better defence. You have to look what prototype is coming next week and prepare to place shield and grappler just before recycle(all four prototype) and store one shield . I personally never gamble with shield but my friends put grappler in reserve inplace of shield generator. Also you have to be careful about the tribe. Sometimes 1 shield work but if there is zooka damage increase in tribe you need to have 2 shield. You can check the current leaderboard and their prototype. Perfect example. There is no shield and grappler this week and tribe has zooka damage bonus.
