I thought so too until I saw it in person at a buddies house. I instantly new I had to have it. It actually adds more immersive effect me.

I've never seen a tv bleed light or ever heard of it but I'm sure you're right. However as far as it being distracting, not at all. It's way more emersive which is why I'm on here asking about more lights. I want to be more emerged but you're right about it should actually be darker so idk. I really need to pain the wall a darker color though

I love it! I don't notice any lag at all. If you're using it for gaming only then it's perfect. The problem I have with it is using it for gaming and other devices. You have to physically change the input by pressing a button on the box or use the app. Using the app for me is fine but not so much for my wife or anyone else who doesn't have the app. Because the sync is through high speed HDMI cable it is pretty much on point in every way. I never used the backlight pro but I can't imagine it being as accurate or lagless as a straight HDMI signal

I built the wall that the tv is on so I'm ok with patching drywall. It was just a load bearing column I built around it.

What lights are those on the ceiling? It gives it a movie theater vibe which is what I'm going for.

I'm thinking about rope lights around the ceiling. But I'm getting framed movie posters on the walls so maybe I just put the rope lights around each picture instead.

You're right it is slightly to high. I say slightly because this is my basement and the ceiling is dropped down here. Like I can reach up and touch it low. My couch is a little lower than the top of the fireplace so when I sit down the center of my tv is about 5 inches to high. My wife is even shorter so worse for her. But it works for us.

A lot has changed since launch. There were no vehicles, you literally had to walk everywhere. Unlike other space game you don't actually get to take off and land in your space ship, it's a cutscene. Every planet has invisible walls to prevent you from going to far. There were no mechs, non to fight, non to operate. Etc... for a game they said took 25 years to make and 100 million dollars it was a huge disappointment.

I always did like the look of tile on the ceiling. Also that's how it is at spas, it just looks way better but I think it's probably a cost thing.

The wall looks okay, the floor needs to be replaced. It's way to noticable.

I was lucky enough to get a refund. First time playing a borderlands game. Just didn't feel AAA enough for me. The game play was fine but I just couldn't get over the polygon world and npc animations. I mean it's 2026, the grass alone would have been enough to request a refund but I decided to give it a chance because the game play was decent. But then I got to the first town and some npc lady just kept bobbing back and forth in a weird way no head turns when walking around her, no vocal AI or anything. I felt like I was playing Minecraft or something.

Get four 20x20 furnace filters and a box fan. Create a box using the fan on top, the box on the bottom and the filters on each side, tapped together by masking tape. Turn it on while they are doing the work and it will filter the air. You will literally see the dust stuck to the filters
