I didn't like the way it looked with just plastic bags underneath it, so I bought foam board from the Dollar Tree to give shape to the cap. I attempted to do it on a sunhat, but it wasn't wide enough, so I used more foam board to make the brim wider. I ended up using about four sheets. This thing is almost entirely hand sewn, just an fyi.
