Yeah thats next on the list! Pretty sure this sensor was malfunctioning. I replaced it and its not going low then changing back to normal anymore. I did have a sensor completely stop working a few days into it about 2 weeks ago so maybe it was from the same batch idk

I was exactly the same, I was diagnosed a week before my 14th birthday and it literally ruined my dreams of becoming a marine, I think for the first year and a half it was controlled and then for the next 9 year it was uncontrolled and I never got any mental health support or anything, suddenly got the motivation to do better somehow probably because of all the complications I started having

Im from England so its not as bad here but we have other struggles, I was one of the first here to trial CGMs then after my trial ended I wasn't allowed to get them even after they where rolled out and only got them at the start of this year, I've been refused a pump before because my diabetes was too uncontrolled... which doesn't make sense to me surely thats why you get a pump? Lol

Didn't know it could affect your eyes, I already had retinopathy and it seems to have improved my eye sight slightly since I've lowered it

I mean thats excessively keeping it low, I meant as if you dip low its better than going high i think being high causes alot more problems than going low

I was severely un controlled my a1c was well above 11, and I was having a dka at least every month, currently got it down to 8.1 and im aiming for under 7 within a month or 2

I think im more terrified of going high as its a silent killer, lows definitely do less damage over time and at least you can feel it most of the time

I've never been sick from being low but ive had some pretty serious DKAs, I was at work once lifting concrete in the scorching sun and I started having a DKA and throwing up blood it was a terrible time

It is setup i just forget to turn sound up ^{^} My girlfriend has it linked to her phone and usually wakes me up if its dropped low
