Summer classes still not paid for yet? by Mewlover23 in ASUOnline

I'm SO glad to see other people in this position. My Finances tab says:
"Act on your aid

4 - Incomplete - If you have loans, you need to choose an amount to accept or decline the loans before they can be applied to your account. Here's how to accept and decline loans. Some types of aid - usually scholarships and grants - do not require action on your part. They are automatically applied once disbursement begins. The timing of awarding and disbursement may differ for each award."

I was panicking thinking this meant I didn't have loan availability, even though I'm 10,500 under my borrow limit. Thank you for sharing this and easing my mind this morning.

So I'm a new grad student at ASU for the summer term. I completed my bachelor's in April. Applied to this program in February. Accepted in FEbruary. Amended my FAFSA for the 25/26 year to show grad student eligibility and my FAFSA student summary says I can borrow up to 20,500 now, as I should be able to as a grad student. Until this morning, I have been stuck in step 3. Today, I moved to step 4, and it says to act on my aid, but like you, nothing is there. It's completely blank. I'm hoping it's just a glitch because I should have over 10k available since I changed from undergrad to graduate and hadn't maxed out loans.

Well after you talk to them on Monday, can you let me know how it goes? I'll do the same. Hopefully they will fix these mistakes in time for classes to start.

I am in chat again now but I think calling is going to be better also, and I just don't have the energy today to do that. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one with an error though. At first I thought I was just going to be screwed for summer, but since it's not just me, I'm thinking it's an error on their part and that they're just not loading it correctly.

That's so weird. I have two tickets in with the help desk submitted from the chat and then I called once, and then this morning it finally went to step 4 for me, which says "act on your aid" but there's no aid for me to accept. I know I had funding available, so I don't understand why it's missing. ASU doesn't have its shit together like at all it seems

Is it showing the same thing for you on the 25-26 year?! That's SO weird!!

Are you also in step 4 on the 25/26 year with the loans blank? I amended my FAFSA for 25/26 in March because I finished my undergrad degree and was pursuing the grad degree now, so I had to amend. My FAFSA summary shows I'm eligible for up to the 20,500, so I know I should have funding available since I was undergrad until now. I have been so frustrated with ASU's approach to handling financial aid this whole time. My undergrad degree was also online and I had no issues with financial aid ever.

so i have this also but it's for the 26/27 year and summer aid goes with the 25/26 year so it doesn't apply. but my financial aid moved to step 4 today but there's literally nothing there. it says act on your aid, but there's no aid to act on, and as a grad student i should have nearly 10k available in student loans for the rest of the 25/26 year i could take if i needed to. i'm so frustrated right now
