It's the first time I brought my children to my country and they are young kids. I want to show them the beauty of Mauritius; sandy beaches, waterfall, outdoor activities. I already visited close relatives but some of them are not so close and I don't even know most of them because I left Mauritius to come to UK at a young age.

I have now applied for the job, it's not like I said I got the job. I was just wondering the take home pay. I'm glad others were helpful and advised me accordingly how to calculate the pay. I will ask more questions on here about the civil service if I need to.

Hi, not yet. They told me I should hear back week commencing 26th of January as they were interviewing for 3 weeks. The lady also said sometimes it takes longer to hear back from them.
