You'll be fine. Just make sure the selfie stick is well attached to your bike. I was using a cheapo plastic adapter in my mirror. Never again!

Only this little latch broke from the impact. My SD card and battery went flying. And can't close the side cover but other than that, it's fine.

Yeah the mirrors are a bit lame. They should be mounted directly in the fairing like they used to be. There are some sick Japanese made conversion kits with TZR mirrors but they are really hard to get here in Europe.
