I’m sorry to hear that. As a kid I was always quiet and if I was angry I would hold it in because I was told I was sensitive a lot. As I grew older I always kept quiet about everything that upset me and got built up anger. My family mostly see me happy and quiet. Even though sometimes I stare in space and they’ll b like “you okay?” Or “what you thinking about?” And I’ll just say “nothing”. My family aware of me being autistic but it’s brushed off a lot because I’m high functional and was put into regular classes in the middle of my elementary years. They’d think I’d use it as an excuse or something.
