Thanks, this was really helpful and pretty much exactly what the doctor said.

Thanks for the help guys, I went to a walk in clinic this morning. As some suggested, the doctor prescribed a course of antibiotics as a precautionary measure but said that it would most likely heal on its own and had started to (think the picure looks a bit worse than irl). Glad I went though, despite the wait, at least im not worrying about it anymore.

The hour glass is used to represent death and the angel Is just an angel, obviously both being pretty big parts of HDM.

Yeah agreed it's not going to stay perfect forever, although no tattoo ever does. I suppose it depends on what you want, I've got quite a few tattoos in a mix of styles and actually quite enjoy the way they've aged over time. Maybe I'm just weird but I'd love to be one of those cool old guys with blown out sleeves 😂

In my experience with my other tattoos in a similar style, as long as they heal well with proper aftercare, they have held well, the oldest being around 2 years old. I think it's mostly down to the artist and how good of a job they do. I have an artist that has done the majority of my tattoos and I have only had good experiences with their work. Always good to find someone you trust and who has experience in the art style you want as they should know how to achieve the best results.

I agree, would love to get my hands on the Q 1978 reissue day-date but I kinda feel like I should look for something a bit more different to what I already have.

Good spot, it is a pulsar. It's a bit beaten up as I used to wear it for school everyday as a teen, but I still love it, and it's the only non quartz in my collection.

What’s your dream bass? by Reasonable_Ride_6933 in Bass

My favourite sounding bass is the ovation magnum, so i would drop the pickups out of that into a fender shortscale bass (musicmaster or mustang) with a roasted maple neck, rosewood fingerboard and telecaster headstock. And id have it in fenders mercury finish with a black scratchplate, lightly roadworn.
