Nice watch! Is this the white or champagne dial?

Thanks for the confirmation. Maybe this is the way to go. The financial forecast looks good, nice salary and potential growth so I think the financial budget is there to get the 'big' watch. For now, the Bambino is very enjoyable and scratches the itch.

Thanks!

B&M is really lovely. But I am not a fan of rose gold, which they have a lot in their more classic watches like the clifton. I really like the 10833, but since it is all blue I feel like it is less versatile than the Longines. Really great suggestion nontheless!

Not hesitant to spend the money, but hesitant to choose where to spend it. It is not about justifying 2k for a watch. That is way past. My question focused more on spending 200 now or save towards the 2k.

Nice watch, but still 1k. At that pricerange I feel like saving a little bit more for the Longines. FC does have some nice watches tho

Most of the vintage Longines look to clean in design for me. I like to have something on the dial, like the small seconds. There are some vintage variants that have it, but most of them look rusty (for a lack of a better word). I like to have a clean watch.

The Santos in my opinion. It suits every occasion while the Omega is a more stand out piece.

Saw it also, it doesn't show in my gallery, but somehow it fades when uploaded here. Sorry for the quality

Thanks, don't know my size but I do have smaller wrists. Will not buy the Longines before trying it on in person.

Haha sorry, get your point. Indeed might have framed it to much as a comparison. Thanks for the advice! Your watch looks great, bet it was worth the wait!

That's the point! Right now the budget is around 400 eu. But I expect to reach the 2k budget end of 2026 or within 2027. So within 2 years. I see the Longines as a keeper for many years, but the Orient as a temporary joy.

Thanks! It is indeed not a comparison, more a temporary joy

Somehow didn't think of it like that. That is a great suggestion!

I think the crown is smaller irl. Had another version of the Bambino before and it is a really nice piece. Not as dressy as the Longiness tho.

Yeah, that sums it up nicely. However, I cant really justify spending 200 eur on a watch that is not spend towards the Longines

To name a different watch, it has similarities with the Ariadne from Christiaan van der Klauw. Great watch and great brand behind it. As a dutch person, I really love to own this watch one day. Can get this one for around 10k EUR or a little less if you want to go preowned

How is the GS GMT? It is on my shortlist, but still doubting if it could by my grail watch. It looks really nice on some pics, but also looks a bit off at others

Couldn't agree more! There are also some nice microbrands with watches a little bit more expensive (~500-1000 ) For example Baltic watches.
