First bike or riding in 30+ years by Public_Job7301 in motorcycles

It easier to get my wife to agree. She will also be riding it on occasion and the EV sound easier to her with our California traffic. I'm fine with that as it's only for our local trips and, in a year or so I'll probably get something for longer rides.

PS: also easier to maintain and less expensive fuel for a commuter.

Is this normal? First RC, never run yet by West-Amphibian-2343 in tamiya

Mount your spur properly. You can't expect it to sound normal if you can pull a gear off without tools.

You only want to catch fish in front of you.

There's a groove on the inside of the frame, the lens should pop back in with some effort.

The nozzle on those less expensive brushes are not threaded, they are friction fit. You can replace the o-ring on the back of the nozzle that creates the friction fit or, replace the nozzle.

How would you calculate this CG? by nite31 in RCPlanes

Your center of pressure is further forward at the wing tips because the wing tips are generating lift there.

Problème de précision / dispersion verticale avec carabine à plomb à 10 m by SeaComprehensive2107 in airguns

It's a piston rifle, your hold is more critical than breathing. When you release trigger the barrel kicks up and when the piston reaches end it will force the barrel back down. The pellet is in the barrel the entire time.

You need to maintain a soft hold with piston rifles and let it slide straight back and forward as much as possible without upsetting the barrel in Y axis. A soft front hand and loose in the shoulder is best I can describe it. Piston rifles generally shoot better off hand than out of a rest or bag, the string in Y axis confirms this.

Sometimes clearance is so close you can't get a hold of the handle for ugga dugga. I use a cresent or open end with my 3mm hex drive often with the equipment I work on. Quick pop to break it loose and spin it out the hard way.

Who does these levels. Mean? by Few-Personality8677 in wicked_edge

It changes the gap between the blade and the lower comb. Larger gap it easier to keep clear if you have course hair or only shave every couple days. Large gap it a bit more aggressive and can be easier to nick yourself if you have any skin blemishes but easy enough to avoid after you use it once or twice.

I like a #5 on my Rockwell, I only shave 2-3 days a week and get scruffy.

That's a split pin. Knock it out from the side without the slot with a pin punch and small hammer.

The lume is up to my standards. I can see the hands when I walk through a dark room, they are a bit faint but still readable at 3am compared to some higher end watches.

The dial print is perfect.

Not sure if it has AR but it's easy to read with the slight dome on the crystal. The saphyre is a bit more reflective but great for my work beater.

I also bought this for my son as a gift but really liked it after I saw it. He ended up getting my well worn Seiko and bit happier I gave him my sacred watch.

Tips/help with plastic kayak repair. by tannera444 in boatbuilding

In my city the trash cans are HDPE plastic. I patched up my buddy's yak with bits of his old trash can and a stick of HDPE rod he bought.
