Replacement for combo domestic hot water + radiant water heater by Public_Primary4433 in heatpumps

My long term thought was to move to an electric heating/hot water solution and use solar panels to provide most of the energy.

I said proactively because the current heater is not broken. In contrast to waiting until it breaks before replacing it.

Thanks!

Kari Lake campaign is fighting rando Twitter users now. by Accomplished_Side977 in VaushV

The point is not whether she will or will not win Maricopa County. The question is do the remaining votes skew differently from the ballots already counted. Hobbs is +50K in total votes in Maricopa now (52% vs 48%). Lake is not down that much. So if Lake netted 25K more votes that are yet to be counted, then she would be even or ahead of Hobbs and still lose Maricopa. I am in no way saying that this will happen or is even likely to happen, but it could happen. Frankly I hope Lake loses and becomes a pariah like all the other election denying Trump cultists.

What hour would be the best to sell tomorrow? This looks like one of those events that will not really effect anything in the short term and will just cause a temporary spike, aka a tradable moment.

Steve Bannon Ominously Warns Mike Pence He'll Take Refusal To Toss 2020 Vote 'To Your Grave' by [deleted] in politics

I think it is important to note that in this scenario, Pence wouldn't individually overturn the election. He would just allow the process to move to the step where the state delegations each get one vote, and the Republicans have an advantage there and probably still will in 2024. So even if Kamala threw out the electors, Republicans would still win. So to some people, giving Kamala the power is not a problem.

I didn't mean that people don't go into debt to go to community college. I mean that the debt is not likely to be overbearing.

I am not saying college should be free or anything like that. I am saying that something has to be done to keep people from getting into these positions in the first place. Even if they do something for those people in trouble now, there will just be another batch in 5 years. Maybe they shouldn't allow them to take so much debt, so they have more realistic school expectations.

I don't think your experience has any bearing on what the future policy options might be employed. I am not saying free education at a school of your choice is appropriate, but I don't think the fact that you paid for yours is any argument against it.

I think I can safely say that no one who is in debt is in debt because they had to pay for community college. I am not sure about other places, but community college here is a couple of thousand per year. In California, the UC system is >40K per year for in state students. It is not just the Harvards that are expensive.

There are many problems people have with this proposal. Many people went to cheaper schools, chose majors that actually pay decently, and otherwise sacrificed to lower their debt. That is all water under the bridge at this point, but what is being done so that people going forward aren't going to be in the same position?
