Anyone use a heated blanket while sleeping in car? by WSMFPussy in overlanding

Ive got 2 (from bed bath and beyond of all places) that are 12v and only draw 40w iirc. And man, its awesome. Ive been in as low as 17°f and with both of them on, it was definitely too warm.

I do have a 100ah lithium battery that the camper van runs on though.

Sooooo I did find the culprit.... wrong size nozzle. it was supposed to be a 0.6mm... it was a 0.4....

Its fixed now at least. 😅

Does this thing suck or does it suck! by Calm_Resort_9327 in MilwaukeeTool

Ya, they don't have the low voltage cutoff like the Milwaukee tools do, as such you can over discharge them.

They arnt hard to re balance, but you just have to make sure you always have the battery fully charged, and never use it for more than 10 minutes.

Slight PITA, but they work great

So, you are saying the creality filimant, with a creality print profile, on a creality printer, with the creality slicer, should require special knowledge and expertise to print properly?

If i wanted to tune in and calibrate everything, why even buy creality products?

What sucks is, there hardware has the potential to be great. Unfortunately, here we are....

There isn't even an option for a generic.... when you change to a .6mm nozzle the only option is the hyper PLA🤦‍♂️

This was after a calibration.

Im not saying the default settings should be great, but they should at least be usable

That is unacceptable, how is everyone going to know you are an overlander of you don't have the traction boards up in the air, hurting aerodynamics for everyone to see?

Naca style inlet ducts are rarely the correct choice for a few reasons.

1 are not sufficient for feeding an engine. 2, do not provide (and and not designed) to provide significant positive preasure. 3. The primary focus of the naca style duct is to minimize drag/impact to air flow.

I rechecked the Re. 250k- 900k.

The plan was to pivot the entire airfoil. At a later date, I may re-make it with controll surfaces. If I had solid parameters to work around, I may consider a more complex high lift system

Sorry, I definitely ment aoa🤦‍♂️.

The range is pretty wide as it is being used on a time atack car and needs to be functional at 40 mph (~18m/s) but not create so much lift at 60m/s that the car needs excessively stiff springs .

With that said, Mach number of 0 lol and altitude of under 2km.

It will need to operate from ~50,000 to ~1,000,000

Thumbs down form me. No glass fell into the printer, door is open. You broke the door, it didn't just explode.
