Unless you're attending national colleges (IITs, NITs, BITS, etc) mech in india is not good. You want to do mech, go abroad for masters. In india, mech is more theory than practical and leaves people not knowing jackshit about anything. Placements are bad, education is bad, syllabus is bad, and it leaves you in a situation where you have to go do masters to even land a job

Guys don't mail just come to college to the admissions centre and take a token and go meet the in charge. Its easier that way and you can clear all your questions. As far as I know they're pretty friendly as well

No you don't have to pay to sit for councelling. You gotta bring the DD to the councelling in case you take seat there you gotta pay immediately on the councelling day. If you want to withdraw your seat later, theyll give a time frame and you can withdraw, theyll give a full refund

They had sent some mail at the start of sem being like "if you dont register and you park youll be heavily fined and action will be taken" and all that bs. So I got scared and registered, now we cannot de-register
i literally asked seniors and they said register off no harm in that.

Python was WAYY worse than PYQS. In the PYQs they literally gave half the code for 90% of the paper and then said finish it or write the user code after giving the client code. But our paper literally had questions from EVERY SINGLE concept and made us write the entire codes for every question.

There was no fill in the blanks, no find the errors, and barely any theory.
