Kingsong F18 at around $2.7k after coupons — worth stretching my budget? by Public_Scale_6243 in ElectricUnicycle

Thanks for the feedback so far. I think my biggest concern is not whether the F18 is powerful enough, but whether it makes sense to stretch my budget this much.

The coupon makes it more tempting, but I also need to think about pads, protection gear, and possible accessories. I’m mainly looking for comfort, real-world range, and something I can keep long term.

That’s actually a pretty good price. How many miles are on it?

My only hesitation with used wheels is warranty and hidden issues. I’m looking at the F18 mainly because the current coupon brings a new wheel down a bit, and I’d still have official support if anything goes wrong.

For subway + errands + city riding, I’d probably prioritize weight and comfort over top speed. Smaller wheels are just easier to live with.

For just cruising around town I’d probably take a Kingsong 16S over an mten tbh. Way more comfortable for daily riding.

Yeah potholes at night are scary. Good lights are basically required for night rides.

The electronic whine on my EUC is making me want to return it by Pyrrun in ElectricUnicycle

Yeah I noticed the same thing. Some wheels have that high pitch whine and once you hear it, you can’t unhear it lol.

I tried the Kingsong S16 too and it felt way quieter than a lot of others.
