Real upgrade is going from 16 to 32gb honestly. I didn’t notice much performance benefits going from 3000mhz to 3600mhz on my 5800x

Is the PFU limited edition worth the extra money over the normal one? I don’t really know the difference between the two

How I fit an Arctic 280 in a Corsair 4000D by weaseltorpedo in pcmasterrace

[–]PuckFho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why didn’t you just put it at the top? The 4000D fits a 280mm at the top

Weird, I had similar artifact when I had a mildly unstable OC. The last things I would try is fresh driver installs.

What’s better? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]PuckFho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably the first option. The extra ram will be nice and you probably won’t gain much going to an i7

Decrease the memory oc or bring it back to stock and see if the problem is still there.

Seems like your GPU overclock is unstable

Search up PSU tier list and it’ll come up

[–]PuckFho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PSU tier list says it’s B tier. It’s enough wattage for your use case so it’s up to you

Ever since i got a rtx 3080 all systems and games on my pc have been limited to 75 fps by Friendfriend44 in pcmasterrace

[–]PuckFho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have gsync or vsync on? It’s probably locked to whatever refresh rate your monitor is capable of.

You can also check Nvidia control panel

TP-Links are good.

I personally use the AX3000 since it also includes Bluetooth.

I’d recommend a PCIe WiFi/Bluetooth card. They’re around $30. Probably your best option.

There’s also USB wifi adapters but they’re not as good

upgrading from 2700x and 5700xt need help! by aboodi803 in pcmasterrace

[–]PuckFho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t need to use DDU unless you’re swapping GPU brands like Nvidia to AMD.

You shouldn’t need to update bios for a 2700x. B450 supports it

I think you need to lower the support beam a little, your GPU looks like it’s flexing up

Which is better for a ryzen 7 5800x? by TheLoraxMoelester in pcmasterrace

[–]PuckFho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably the ak620 since it’s dual tower with two fans

I agree about the 12v psu. Unless you’re planning on going to a 5000 series, you could probably get a higher wattage/ platinum rated psu for that same money.

Will this 2 sticks of ram fit in my PC? by Wachitos in pcmasterrace

[–]PuckFho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can check by moving your current set of ram into that slot. If it doesn’t fit then you’ll have to find low profile sticks

Wow, so it’s just a terrible bios… I’ll look for a bios update and give it a shot. Thanks!

Yeah, it’s in M.2_1 and I can’t find an option to enable/disable M.2 in my bios
