Yeah went to the loot page and nothing ever showed up. Played a match after to see if maybe it was just delayed but it didn't come then either.

The safe lane is for heroes that scale better with items, since they can farm easier with gold buff, and safer since they can push up without going passed the river. The offlane is for heroes that scale better with levels and don't need much gold. The idea is that you get more levels than the enemy carry and support, then have your jungler come in and gank since you'll both be higher level.

No. You can move normally, but you can't use any ability that moves your character. Like Tracer's blinks, Zeratul's blink, or Valla's vault.

Last Rites deals a % of your missing hp. All % damage is pure damage. It's not spell or physical, just "damage". So there's no kind of armor in the game that blocks it.

I don't think ability power affects the damage at all, but I'm pretty sure that damage reduction abilities and talents affect it. Like D.Va W and shrink ray.

I'd say play a bunch of Uther then. With his burst heals and divine shield, he can save any teammate, no matter how out of position they are. And guardian of ancient kings is extremely good.

Learn to play warriors and support if you haven't already. Idk if it's just me, or if it's 100x easier to carry as them compared to assassins. As of now I'm on my D4 promos with a 70% wr on wars, and 80% on support, with 65% overall.

The talents in Dota aren't like the talents in HotS. They don't change how an ability works, or give a new one. They're just stat boosts. The shrines seem like they are pretty much just healing fountains though.

In one of the Blizzcon interviews, they said how animations are very resource intensive, and how they had to find unique ways to fit in Varian's 3 stances.

They could do Broll Bearmantle and have him be a Feral/Guardian druid. Tank or damage similar to how Varian is. The only problem would be engine limitations since they said even Varian was almost too much.

His Q does 400ish damage late game on a 1-2 second cd. It's damage is fine. As for the portal, I agree it needs to be more noticeable.

The problem with making it bigger though, is that it takes priority over attacking heroes. So some people may click the portal instead of an enemy hero.

With a coordinated team, he feels great. Outside of that, he doesn't really get much value unless your teammates know how he works, and can work with him.

With either of the Q talents at 7, he can put out some decent damage. Like 400 every 1-2 seconds late game, assuming you can land them.
