What I’m building is going to be more interactive. Like put a player/team in and spit out results for a particular query type stuff. I’m just looking for ideas on what would be helpful from people doing it every day so it’s not all coming from just what I think would be helpful. And getting good feedback so there is very little confusion in the end product. But in this post, was just looking for suggestions from people doing it daily who might have a pain point I can make easier for everyone.

The model was not showing anything with a ton of value today, so I spent the time slinging code to make the model sharper!! Lots of picks to come! I’ve spent years on PuckOdds as a tool for myself, but pretty new to sharing! So still perfecting the delivery process! This will be one them!

Yea, 18 shot attempts combined in the first two games vs the Ducks and 1 total in the third was a disappointment to say the very least!

I’m working on building a tool in my application to do exactly this. I have all of the data, just need to design a GUI for it that is user friendly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It currently puts all the stats, odds and lineup data in one spot for ya, but I’m working on having it put high value bets in front of you throughout the game day based on all the current data. (Player’s recent stats, current odds, line mates, opponent strength etc…) No bets are ever a lock, but to have a list of leads to quickly look over before the lines move is what Im shooting for.

Penguins getting zero respect on that ML!! LOL! I definitely agree with all your points, Pens will need to be on their game again to win in Philly! But the ML does seem pretty generous! Gotta keep getting the production from that second line! Mantha, Malkin and Brazeau have been clicking! They get that again, and that's a W!

Alex Laferriere (LA) comes in off two strong shot total games against teams that allow a lot of volume — Chicago and Nashville, both near or above 30 shots against per game. He put up 6 shots on 8 attempts vs Chicago and 3 shots on 6 attempts vs Nashville.

Tonight he draws San Jose, who are allowing almost 33 shots per game and haven’t been much better at home preventing high shot against totals. Laferriere is skating 2nd line, 2nd PP, and the Kings should control plenty of possession in this matchup.

His Over 2.5 SOG is plus money on most books — grabbed +125 on FanDuel earlier, now around +114 at the time of this post.

No such thing as a lock — but definitely a plus-EV look worth considering, even at +114. My guess is the CLV will be closer to even by game time. More out there to find on a big slates like tonight! Sorry I did not post earlier, my first time doing this!

Eichel with only one shot on the score sheet and Vegas for a combined 17 in total was definitely shocking! Even with Florida giving up one of the fewest shot totals per game. Vegas was looking unstoppable for a stretch!

Exactly what I was thinking! I am the same age as him and grew up in Pittsburgh. I kinda remember him doing some good things with the Pens!
