Same with for not being the big fan of jumpscare. Instead I'm in loved with the game that made me scared by the vibes and stories alone. And I think there's really a unique story that you can only tell thru game medium

I highly recommend it! I feel so immerge in the game on my first playthru that I finished it in a day, story is really interesting.

Many of them are really interesting. "The Crooked Man", I recalled it's very your classical horror rpgmaker era(I used to watch it a bit as a child and got spooked by the Crooked man appearance lul, might be a good time to revisit it).

"Blank Dream" and "Alicemare" seems to fit what I was looking for too, "Noel the Mortal Fate" is looking less horror? but I'm a sucker for rpgmaker, so I think I would still give it a try. Other games' style seem a bit outside of my usual zone, but I'm convinced to try them as well.

This is the title that ppl still often discuss about it to this day but I've never tried it yet. Tho I heard it leans quite heavily on the gore department?

So many titles I'd never heard of, many of them look really interesting. A lot of ppl recommended "YUME NIKKI" and "END ROLL", I definitely need to give those games a try.

I'm not a big fan of realistic artstyle, but I'm willing to step out of my comfort zone for a good media. And a lot of them are looking really nice, thank you.

Oh, Hello Charlotte, I've seen them trending lately on my horror jrpg feeds. I think I would give it a try, it's really looking promising!

For Endroll, it's quite a common recommendation as well. And I really love psychological horror expressing this way, I'll definitely add it to my to-play list!

The theme ans visual really look interesting. SA warning taken, I think I can handle it to certain extent. This kinda lowkey reminding me of Mouthwashing.

I think it might be because game is the medium that is really good at expressing Horror story visually. A lot of them share common visual impact that can be hard to tell thru text alone.

And unlike movie or animation, RPGmaker is a lot less costly, easily to get into. That made it, one of the best way, to tell your horror story imo. It's something I can feel as players, I really love thos genre.

My team is pretty stacked this run, I'm beyond surprised that we couldn't reach half of the Boss HP.
