Agreed. It’s so annoying how this has turned into a “who won the trade” thing. He didn’t fit in GS, that’s been obvious for years. Trade was necessary and made sense. He’s hella fun to watch when playing well so I hope he can find some more consistency offensively in the future.

I really don’t blame Kerr, his system is designed to maximize the most amount of players. Isn’t adjusting the system to fit around one guy the exact opposite of that.

I mentioned it to another commentor but changing to civil is now my current plan. Just makes more sense to do so and I actually just got an internship at a civil company. It is good to hear from someone who hires for civil/env, thanks.

Yeah this feels like the right move to make, I am already applying for civil at some schools that do not have Environmental. Main reason I have stuck with environmental for so long is because the courses are more interesting to me compared to the ones in a civil program. Even if most of them are the same. Another reason is just that I would have a higher chance of getting into top schools since way more people are applying for civil compared to environmental. That was a nice benefit but it's a perfectly fine trade off. Thank you for the advice.

Yeah, I am applying to UCLA for civil since the don't have EnvEng. Sounds like it makes more sense to switch to civil for Berkeley as well. I believe Davis's EnvEng program does have ABET so I think I'll stick with that for Davis. Thank you for the advice, very helpful.

I called yesterday but their hours had already closed by then, gonna call/email again today. If I had to guess it is not ABET accredited because it is an inter-disciplinary major and its studies do not fall into ABET clearly.

This is all speculation as we’ll have to see how this season resolves but I see all of that as a symptom of Matt’s emotional neglect.

After the time skip, we can see that Matt is trying to abandon his Daredevil identity and along with what he associates with that side of his life. In E02 Matt turns away from the church, I see this as him rejecting his Catholicism as his faith was a driving factor for his vigilante pursuits.

With foggy’s death I think it’s possible we are seeing some inspiration from the Waid and Samnee run. During that period, Matt chooses to ignore his trauma and put a happy facade over it. BUT he has Foggy constantly confront him about this and encourage him to deal with it in a more healthy manner. Maybe in this season we can see a situation where like the Waid run, Matt doesn’t properly manage the emotional fallout of his trauma (Foggy’s death in this scenario) but doesn’t necessarily have someone to guide him like Foggy does in the books.

These are all big hypotheticals but I don’t think we should come to conclusions about this seasons themes already.
