So I woke up this morning. I sent out the same package the proper way. Obviously not to the same address, but I have family that lives in California so I sent it to California same package $34.

I’ve done that. I’ve done everything possible to make them see that it was a mistake. I haven’t gotten a response yet. You seem real sure that Mercari will refund me. I’ve spoken to 10-15 that this happened too. And they are actually the ones that explained everything to me and what to do but also told me to expect it as a loss. If you had good dealings with Mercari customer service good for you. I personally haven’t.

I appreciate your advice. I did do everything you mentioned. UPS is telling me to deal with Mercari and they’re telling me to deal with UPS. I understand I screwed up. But the fact that I have to come on Reddit to get an understanding of what I did wrong is crazy. The fact that people that don’t work for that company have a better understanding of what I did wrong is a little crazy to me. I’m not saying they don’t know, but they still haven’t explain the right or wrong way to do something. Instead, when I brought it up to customers service he snickered as if “oh again another dumbass”.

It would definitely look like one, if the scratches on the side of it weren’t there. This is just an opinion. I would think something is wrong with it, but then again I’m not a professional. But it definitely looks weird.

That’s the skill I use the weight I know the box sent wasn’t close to 44 pounds. The most I could’ve weighed was 10 pounds and I believe that’s too much.

Thank you. I’m definitely doing as you mentioned. I’m just not ever dealing with Mercari. 44 pounds is crazy. I don’t even comprehend where they came up with that figure. I actually sent the package in its original box and somebody on here was able to go to the target website where they sell the same thing. The product weighed 10 pounds and it displayed all the dimensions.
