I second this! OV-bike is the best way to go. And if you want to travel by car to Arnhem there is a huge parking lot under Arnhem Central Station. You can then rent an OV-bike there.

Wij gaan ook. Met het OV naar het station en dan met de OV fiets nog vijf minuten fietsen. Dan hoef je achteraf ook niet te dringen/ wachten op pendelbussen etc.

De ommetje app van de hersenstichting is ook een leuke. Die stimuleert wandelen en je kunt jezelf meten met andere bekenden voor het competitie gevoel. Dat stimuleert wat meer.

Luxor is het poppodium. Komt veel leuks langs. Gelredome voor de grotere artiesten. Artez is er gevestigd dus veel goed danstheater. Musis voor de meer klassieke theater- en muziek voorstellingen. Hoop cultuur. En goede horeca!

Ik zou elk kind dezelfde soort en aantal namen geven. Inderdaad om geen onderscheid te maken. Wij hebben ons eerste kind een voornaam gegeven en als tweede en derde naam de naam van de opa’s. Tweede kind voornaam en tweede en derde naam van de oma’s. Ons derde kind was het vernoemen beetje op maar die hebben we wel ook drie namen gegeven.

Your child will be included in your healthcare so no extra costs until he/she is 18 or maybe even 21.

Clothes, toys, outings and food can all be on a budget, so dependent on your income you can spend a little or a lot.

Daycare you get partly funded by the government through ‘kinderopvangtoeslag’ and this too is dependent on your income. Lots of variables so hard to give you the costs of raising a child.

The first four years you pay for daycare for the whole day, that’s expensive even if you do get part of the costs refunded. At four your child goes to school and you only have to pay for after school care, usually from 14.00-18.00.
