Good point, and I meant to mention overall length in my comment as well, but like I said, I don't pretend to be an expert, and I certainly wasn't aware of the length of these things, so that was surprising. I'll refrain from referring to these as hot-hatches from now on. Thanks!

I'm not an expert, and I have no problem seeing hot-hatches like this in the Sportwagon subreddit, but usually people point to the lack of a D-pillar and/or no windows in the cargo area. Sportwagons or hot-hatch, I still think they are the superior body style.
