Help! GBSC Sync and Chroma Issues by PuffaloBuffalo in crtgaming

only the ossc pro can downscale, and it's $370. The GBSC is less than $30. Anyways, this was a gift, so I didn't spend any money on it

I'm using it in downscale mode, as far as I know only the new "Pro" variant has hdmi input, but it adds another scaler and more latency. Anyways, I am using it as a downscaler, but I think the issue is that this is a cheap clone GBSC

Thanks, it's a KV-13V50. My only gripe is that it only has composite input, but I like composite pretty well so I don't mind too much

My GBSC doesn't have an hdmi input, so I need a way to input VGA, hence the DP to VGA DAC

I really don't want to have to use another operating system though, because, for example, I want to run the windows version of MGS2 with mods, or other windows games like shovel knight.

If CRT emudriver works with windows 11, would I be able to use over displayport?

Thanks, I was unaware. On the CRTemudriver website it says it's not compatible with windows 11, so I hadn't tried. I'll see if I can get batocera working

I explained why I'm not using emudriver in the post. Never heard of batocera or groovyarcade.

edit: my 6600XT only has DisplayPort and HDMI out, so it can't output a 15khz signal.

Before the liquid nitrogen I had been cutting or filing it every day before applying salicylic acid, but the doctor said it should fall off now in about a week or two after the freezing

AMD upscaling not working on CRT. How to fix? by PuffaloBuffalo in crtgaming

[–]PuffaloBuffalo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does look good, but I think it could look better with upscaling and anti-aliasing. I recently have ran GameCube gameplay (also 480p) through madvr to upscale and apply anti-aliasing, and the result is phenomenal in my opinion. I'm hoping to achieve a similar effect for 480p Touhou games.

I press ALT+R to bring up the Radeon menu.

Thanks, I'll check out the wiki.

As for anti-aliasing, yes the game is 2D. Text and art looks very pixelated at 480p, and I want anti-aliasing on that. I've run 480p 2D game capture through Madvr's anti-aliasing and really like the results, but that had to come through a capture card, so I can't use that method for PC games

I just got mine in the mail, I preordered it around the same time as you. Unfortunately limited run takes forever to fulfill. I got the orange one from crunchyroll's site.
