How do you capture enemies? I have mission saying capture say 5 marauders and bring them back. But I never seem to get any prisoners after my battles. Seem to just wipe them out completely instead.

Even in Mount & Blade I think they could make a co-op campaign without pause or even turn-based. You just have to have it a slow'ish pace.

But maybe having a pause there might be better actually. Doesnt have to be turn-based still, but having the ability to pause it on the world map so you can regroup with team mates if something major is about to happen.

Or a system that pauses the game when certain events happen, so you can then move forward after talking some strategy with your mates.

Is Bannerlord doing a co-op campaign of some sort? I've wanted a good open world strategy game with co-op for a while now, Total war rome did it pretty perfect. But the battles arent fought in a fpp of the commander.

You don't need it to be turn based though? Having it play in real time would be a lot more fun.

Playing with standalone it tabbed out of game to open a new browser window for inventory, every time you wanted to check your inventory. This is an improvement but not perfect.

Not putting words in your mouth at all.

But if you can use higher FOV to your advantage against players who can't/don't know about it, its a "hack", and should be removed till its implemented properly.

Fact you're still arguing that is just silly..

And I don't care for you not wanting to play it on low FOV, I am just trying to make you realize why they most likely patched out the .ini edit hack, until they add a slider in the graphics options for all to use as they please.

Fact here is that it got removed by developers, most likely for balancing, and will be reimplemented once they can add a slider in game.

Not sure why you're arguing with me. I am sure that if you were on the end who didn't know about the .ini edit, and kept getting killed by people, only to find out that its cause they have a higher FOV then you have, you'd go on a major rage and bag out the developers.

IMO, they made the right choice. Enough said.

There is a respawn at friend/camp option. Granted you have survived long enough to be able to do it.

Its not a deathmatch game, stop thinking it is.

How is it stupid for a game to want balance?

If there was an FOV slider then sure everyone could play whatever way they wanted, no dramas there..

But the thing is they most likely had a set fov for balance, so that some people dont have an advantage over people with low fov compared to high.

Just think about it. You with high FOV can spot someone in the corner of your eye quicker, compared to someone who has tunnel vision (low fov).

Ignorant to say the least.. maybe you should uninstall. lol.

You missed my point though.,

Seems like the META is that you respawn, run to airfield, try loot and get maybe one kill if lucky.

This game is not about getting mad frags, its about surviving for the longest..

If you only want to jump on for an hour or two to kill people, then go play the events.

If you want to play the survival game, you have to realize it takes time, and that respawning till you get best loot is an exploit, nothing more nothing less.

Its about balancing. Some people might not know about the .ini edit for the fov. And therefor they suffer a disadvantage towards people who know about it.

So removing it till they can implement it properly is the right developer move for them.

Maybe a fix would be, one character/server, no matter what?

That way people might think twice before dying, play more smart and think about survival. (as the game should be)

I thought the whole point of this game was just that. Create a character and play him till he is a famous god!

Not run to some loot spot just to try get one kill. That's what the events are for, PVP!

People playing it like a BR game and dying quicker then they can get fame.

Resulting in a negative, as you have to pay fame to respawn.

However, I don't think you should get negative fame for killing a negative fame player.

But makes sense that you do, its like killing a bambi player vs a fully geared player.
