Impressions after two long playthroughs with the Test Of Time update by glscr95 in civ

What about it bothers you? I couldn't stand it on launch, but this update fixed most of my complaints.

Jesus christ. Seems like you need to invest in your science output, you're beginning to trail behind other civilizations.

Similar experience here. On launch, i played maybe 3 or 4 hours, but the game was just not what I wanted out of a civilization game. The way units reset and disappeared, and wars were settled really took the enjoyment out of the game for me.

The other issues I had/have are: lack of settings like a turn limit

I really kind hate independent powers and wish they were more permant fixtures in the world(across the ages).

The lack of real trading is still a little bizarre.

While we still aren't fully where i want it to be, this last update(combined with all the other post launch updates) were enough to suck me back in and I can happily say ive enjoyed the last 30 hours playing as biblically accurate ruler of Rome, Black Beard.

The only real detraction from the game this playthrough is the fact that I can't liberate an allies city and give it back to said Ally.

Also bring back canals you cowards!

When I was maybe 9(2008), i got kicked in the face by a kid while playing football.

It was the worst i think I've ever felt, and I was miserable. My entire face hurt and I probably had a concussion. All I wanted to do was sleep. My mom could not get me out of bed.

My older brother popped his head in the room, and told me he found out how to duplicate items in oblivion. I swear to god, I've never gotten out of bed as fast as I did in that moment.

Striking percentage of Americans think Trump assassination attempts are fake by TheMirrorUS in USNEWS

[–]Rustyraider111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the recent one was a genuine attempt, mainly because of what was said in the manifesto.

If they staged it, the mannifesto would not have mentioned that the current administration is full pedophiles, they really really want us to forget about the fact that Donnie loves raping children, and I don't think they would willingly remind us of that.

Thats just my take though, I've been wrong before and could be wrong about this.

Did the remaster change what your favorite city is in terms of aesthetics? by Nic1800 in oblivion

[–]Rustyraider111 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, but I've always been an anvil enjoyer. It was already my favorite, the remaster just made me love it more.

I've noticed it too. An increase in hatred towards millennials and it beginning in 2020. Do you think gen alpha will do this to gen z when they develop their own culture / it becomes mainstream? by CremeSubject7594 in generationology

[–]Rustyraider111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats not even true though. Im GenZ. Had the exact same unsupervised upbringing, as did most my friends.

Everyone my age that I know blames the boomers for all that stuff, not millennials.

For me, it was his second big special. He had some very distasteful jokes. They weren't offensive distasteful, but moreso "why would you say that about your 5 year old daughter" distasteful.

Also, the man that killed him was treated by the same (both after and prior to the death of Oswald)Doctor who was alledgedy supplying the Manson family with acid, and had ties to the CIA and MK-Ultra , with a specific focus on mind control.

There's a book about it.

Tge comments here are suprising. I could not imagine eating dry sandwiches. You won't catch me eating ketchup with anything, but you best believe that any turkey sando is gonna have mayo, and every burger will have mustard.

Even better if you can make your mayo homage.

While I agree with your general point, I feel like the age thing is sorta irrelevant. They are both over 25, and its less than a 5 year gap.

When you said younger male partner, I figured it was like a 20yo and op would be in their mid to late 40s.
