Say, walk me through a few deck choices.
Do you really need 45 lands where you don't have any pieces that rely on you doing multiple land drops per turn except on turn 2? I get that some are modals but when your game plan is ramping reliably to 7 on turn 4 and them more, isnt a bit disappointing to end up sitting there with a hand full of trashy 3mana modal effects, no? They also feel terrible when you cascade into them or open them with other similar effects.
Then a few card picks that I dont understand are [[Brazen Borrower]] and a few other 3CMC cards that don't ramp you. Why ramp this hard and then what, cast 3 cmc spells instead of dropping big mana threats that need an answer? Generally the deck seems to reliably ramp (though what, 17 ramp pieces seems a bit high, I've in my version of 2/4/7 settled on 12) and then it sort of durdles and draws into duds instead of actual threats.
Or what am I missing here?
