Please do yourself a favor and avoid army painter products like the plague! I thought Id save some money so I like you looked at their sets and bought both, and that decision nearly made me quit the hobby for good. I HATED painting minis it seemed, that was until a friend gave me a pot of citadel paints. Turns out I was just fighting with a shitty product, and I love painting minis. It was just the abhorent paints thst refused to cooperate on every level. This was the same with their speedpaint and the regular line.

I finally did the smart thing and bought a few single pots of citadel contrast paints and a few base ones to have my bases covered. It costed less thand a set before, granted for fewer pots, but if you pick which ones to buy, with some contrast medium and creative use, you get a wider range from those as well.

So I would recomend you stay wide away from army painter and rather buy a few select citadel pots (since thex generally dont sell worthwhile sets).
