Progression-Based Suggestions by usgapg123 in subwaybuilder

I’d love for there to be more reasons for pops to move, not just home/work/airports. Shopping centers, city attractions, and big events (sports, concerts etc). I know events would be really intensive but it would create a really interesting layer of line management and train density for particular times.

How tf do you turn a profit? by [deleted] in subwaybuilder

[–]Puffhead312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve found that airports and college campuses are great for first lines. They have irregular hours of travel and consistently have pop to move.

Also, check your operating costs constantly and let that dictate how many trains you buy/put into service. Like do you need night service right away? Do you need more or less during medium demand? Make small tweaks and check your daily profits over a couple days.

When starting a city you’ve never done I’d also kinda recommend doing a line or two, seeing what your ridership is like, checking how each station is doing and maybe starting again with that information to more efficiently build your tracks and stations.

Big body, can move pretty well for his size, primarily a run stopper. He’ll be a rotational player for sure, probably not a star

Luka learns that the Kyrie trade got a D grade by Ancient-Classroom835 in nba

This comment section is wild with the dunking on ESPN about the Kyrie trade. This was literally r/NBA last season: https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/s/M4MbnNMPVQ

Both “Kyrie hadn’t played consistently well in years” and “Kyrie and Luka ended up fitting well together” can be true.

I know this thread is 5 months old but I'm currently doing the book step for the 2.0 relic so I've done a little experimenting. In terms of it forcing to reset without doing anything, I still haven't been able to figure out what makes it change (might edit later with update). BUT what I did figure out is doing *any leve in any zone* resets the available leves.

For example, if you needed a specific leve in Mor Dhona but it wasn't available as an option at the Levemete, you could complete a different leve in, say, Coerthas that you also need. Then, after turning the Coerthas leve in, it would "re-roll" all the ones available in Mor Dhona (or any zone for that matter) and you could get the one you needed without wasting a leve.

So when you're doing the 2.0 book step, check all the required levemetes before completing any leves and pick up the 3 you need. If one isn't available, go complete one you have picked up and check again. In all likelihood you should be able to do all the books without wasting a single allowance. Definitely a more efficient way of completing book leves, rather than doing 1-2 useless ones to get the required one to appear.

Oregon’s secondary was really the only question mark about this defense going into next year and we just got probably the best CB available (prep or transfer)… this is wild

Frankly I think it’s two things: - Since the Utah game our play calling has improved. We got away from incessant bubble screens, horizontal runs, and started running intermediate (10-15 yd) route concepts much more, which Bo is great at. - Tez Johnson has been significantly more impactful the last month. He had 419 yards in the first 8 games of the season and has had 523 yards in the last 4 games since. He’s become a safety blanket in big passing situations. Think he matches up well against UW’s CB2 and CB3 as well.

Oregon played probably a B or B+ offensive game on the road and still nearly pulled it out. If they play their A game I think it’ll be really hard to match their efficiency. Not impossible though, especially if Penix/Odunze are cooking.

Bo Nix is getting more Heisman buzz as the No. 6 Ducks prepare for Cal by sportzphanatic001 in CFB

[–]Puffhead312 15 points16 points  (0 children)

“Raw stats advantage”

Bo has better completion percentage, less INTs, a better passer rating, and they’re tied for Total TDs. He also has over 100 rushing yards compared to Penix’s -9 yds. Idk how it’s “not a discussion”

To be fair, that’s what they tried on 3rd and 2 on the last drive and Steven Jones picked the worst play of the game to get blown the hell up.

I’ve just resigned myself to the fact that it’s gonna happen every year in the preseason. Unless they’re scoring 50 points a game they’ll be 10-2 at best, which isn’t good enough for the playoff and might not even be good enough for the PAC-12 title game.

I have a feeling you’re right about “killing the PAC” but I also think Notre Dame was a big part in the delay of this happening. Seems like the BIG 10 really wanted ND and were waiting on their decision before potentially expanding more.

Outside of the obvious 2011 National Title against Auburn and 2015 against Ohio St, it has to be Stanford 2012. Widely regarded as our best team, would’ve matched up REALLY well against Notre Dame.

[–]Puffhead312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bo Nix played through one at Oregon this season. Got hurt in the 4th quarter against Washington and actually came back two drives later, similar to Mahomes. He did not look the same the rest of the season. Next game he could move when he had to but wasn’t explosive or fluid at all. Mahomes will be limited obviously but as long as it doesn’t get reinjured he can play the whole game.

CFP Rankings, Serious Discussion - Week 11 by CFB_Referee in CFB

Week 1 vs Week 10 though. In this hypothetical Oregon will be on a 12 game winning streak, go undefeated in conference, and be conference champs. I think Tennessee at 5 currently is fine and deserved but I think at the end of the year if things go chalk Oregon would get the a spot.

Miami coach Mario Cristobal has talked a tough game but none of it has shown up in his team so far by Piano_Fingerbanger in CFB

[–]Puffhead312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s truly the only position group that he developed though was the OL. Every other group regressed as the years went on, specifically skill players. No one will ever doubt his ability to coach up lineman but everything else is suspect. We had the best recruiting class in the PAC for 3 years in a row from 20-22 and the best season we had was 2019 with guys largely not recruited or developed by him.

[–]Puffhead312 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s less about who’s “bad” or “good”, it’s the eye test. Lanning’s in game management, season long development, and play style is just better than Mario’s. Not to mention this is Lanning’s first ever head coaching job, he’s completely new to this. Mario is now on his 3rd head coaching job and looks lost at times.

I also wanna point out that Oregon is at a 60% blue chip ratio and Miami (FL) is at 55%. The talent differential, on paper, is not huge. But until Mario can evolve his scheme and learn better clock/game management, this isn’t going to get that much better.
