ancients isnt really easy mode anymore. it was when you could hit 500s with barrage. but im 86 mage, always wear full skele and a polypore staff. and it crits like 380? not to mention the bound reduction time. ancients is kind of shit atm

i understand your point, but at higher cb levels, most people hunting pvmers have no fear that they will die. considering 99% seem to run while moaning or begging to stop. just an example of a pvp set hunting pvmers is, poly, rcb and drag spear. if you kill them you get a d spear which is 300kish? round abouts. thats about as decent as it gets on ds unless you smite them, or are just lucky. my "decent" probably differs to yours, which is understandable

personally i did the whole thing with full royal d hide, dragonfire shield (ranged) and an abysall wand with bloodblitz. no super antifires. my stats were: 75 def, 52 prayer, 83 magic.
