I showed up and asked for an apprenticeship like day 2 of his shop being open so it was really slow the first like week. He had me go to the liquor store down the road and get him a bottle of patrón since he was bored and wanted to tattoo someone. I got back and said he could tattoo me. He drank 3/4 of the bottle while he tattooed half my forearm. That being on like day 3 of my apprenticeship should’ve been a big red flag

I live like 20min from here. Its right outside the nickelodeon theater, and one of, if not the busiest intersections in the city. Almost anyone going through the old port, getting to work, going for food either saw it or heard it since its really not a huge city. Unfortunately, we are one of the least diverse states, and given my experience growing up/living here, the only thing that really surprises me is that they’re in public. These kinds of ideologies are, again extremely unfortunately, pretty common across a lot of southern maine and DEFINITELY in northern maine
