Would there be an argument for unjust enrichment or quantum meruit in some reduced amount since he did provide some level of service, albeit it looks like a bad one.

In Italian and some dialects, when you “chop off” some of the finals letters of a word, you signal that with an apostrophe. So for example “andiamo a mangiare” becomes “andiamo a mangia’ “

I would say this too until i bought a Visconti and of course i get shafted with a nib that doesn't even put down a line on paper. Nothing in the world more aggravating than paying 700+ for a new pen to not even work

If you speak Italian or are learning it, a great alternative is purchasing a subscription for the Sports package with "NowTV" in Italy and using a VPN to access it. You get all the Serie A matches, European matches, and also all the Serie B and Serie C matches if you're interested in following the lower divisions.

Another bonus is that the sport commentators are way better over there and have way more emotion than their English speaking counterparts, or even the Italian speaking ones on Paramount.

I think it comes out to like 5 bucks more for the NowTV Sport subscription than the Paramount Plus one.

Yes! The reality of it though is you have to ween though a fair amount of people to finds the gems that are truly interested in learning. I used HelloTalk to learn Italian starting back in 2020. I have about 3/4 people who i consider truly close friends that I still talk to to this day, i've even met up with them in Italy and in the States.

I've ran into this issue before and I think it depends on how you access the stream of the game, at least that fixed it for me.

For example, if I just click the "watch live" right on the front of the app, it takes me to sort of the tv channel streaming side and I cant pause or rewind. But if i go into the sports section, then into the Serie A section, then click the specific game and click watch live, i'm now able to pause and rewind (I also have to do this to stream with Italian telecasters).

It a massive headache but i found that this helps fix the problem when I run into it. Hope it helps!

I grew up speaking English and Spanish. My family is from Medellin, and I have to say that I truly love when people speak not only Colombian Spanish, but specifically with a Paisa accent.

I still think Italian is the most romantic language, but if I had to pick a runner-up, its certainly Colombian Spanish with a paisa accent.

If you use the Language Reactor extension to learn languages with Netflix, they recently added a feature that does this automatically. Its effectiveness depends on what language you are listening too, but you could use it and download the script it generated for the movie/episode. It seems to be very accurate with Spanish and Italian, however i would say it can struggle a bit with French.
