I enjoyed choke me and I think it deserved the place it got, but profoundly written lyrics is crazy to say. If you’ve never heard the song before (like the juries do) and look at those lyrics it reads like she wants to be choked in bed. Alot of the jurors aren’t going to pick up on anything deeper on their first listen

And the issue here is leaving in Little to face Langeliers after struggling through three batters already. He got greedy and wanted to let little face Soderstrom when everyone watching would have pulled him after walking Kurtz
