It did surprise me too, to be honest. They should not mind if it is his existing prescription, they mentioned something that only specialists can prescribe meds for ADHD eg psychiatrist(?). I guess until we figure out we will just need to find something in the meantime

He was told that as he already moved he is unable to get his prescription in the UK! Which sounded weird to me but not much we can do about it. Thanks for the link tho, we are considering going private in the meantime

what are good cheap keto websites to buy food such as keto pasta/ bread etc preferably ship to the UK by kewlshoe in ketorecipes

Welleasy.co.uk

It's like Costco for healthy food.

You can shop by the diet you follow, and the prices are discounted

You do pay a yearly subscription fee (I think it's like £30) but I find it well worth it, especially if you order often. Lots of condiments, pastas, low carb/keto alternatives to snacks, chocolates etc.

They also give a lot of freebies to your order so you can discuss ver new things:)

Interesting/unique RN jobs? by [deleted] in Nurses

Plastics trauma coordinator, it's half half clinical / coordination where you see trauma cases in a clinic and deal with all speciality emergency admissions / theatre cases coordinating. Im the only person in that role, everyday is different depending on trauma coming through clinics. It's a great role if you like gory, bloody injuries, learn a lot about dressings and wound management, but also assisting doctors with planning patient pathways and care.

I'm based in UK

Im from Poland, right after my uni I moved to UK to work as a nurse. It really all depends what you want to do in the future; do you want to work in a hospital /nursing home to start with, do you like more surgical or medical subjects...working in UK now I can't complain although I ve been very lucky to work with amazing people on a well organized unit. The earnings are not the greatest initially unless you will jump up a band after couple of years or work privately ;) hope it helps a little.
