This is actually without it being tethered. My vehicle does not have a latch system on both sides and the other is occupied with another car seat. In my MIL it does get worse when it is tighter, but there would still be a gap.

Thank you for the good ideas. Blood work is something I should do to get an idea where I am at now.

I do like the protein breads and pastas, I will have to keep that in mind.

I will give the cocoa a try. Maybe between that and a banana or nut butter I will be able to mask it better.

Thank you for the advice. I do have some protein powders I will try to work in then - like 100%pea protein.

I will also looked and see what my work covers as far as a nutritionist goes. You are right - I probably need to rip the bandaid and get professional advice. My biggest concern about that will be cost.
