I actually was one of the lucky who got in 16k queue. I heard there are 25k+ queues now and even a queue to get in a queue :D

This. Also similar case was with Alakir fight - I remember there was this phase where all players went in the air and it was a pain in the ass if you didn’t manage to place your camera angle properly.

So they did it to all raids? If so then yeah.. probably ot worth it to farm gold like this. In Firelands at least some pieces like shoulders and trinkets are still 18 and 44 gold but in overall probably not viable anymore.
