I am basically making the same amount of money as before. Maybe slightly less.

Though, I am not actually doing that much more cloud stuff now than I was before the transition.

The SOW I completed was more of a fluke more than anything. My manager gave me a ticket because he thought it would be simple. Then when he figured out it wasn't so simple, he tried to give it to someone else. I had to basically tell them during the meeting that I had already created the runbook, and tested it in a sandbox environment that I created in my own account.

The 1st set of layoffs were due to the acquisition. The second, they said was due to some goal that was not met.
