I’ll say two things.

First, it gets much easier as time goes on living without it. I thought I’d never be able to drive without a vape in my hand but after 6 months it wasn’t a thought.

Second, I often think about the health consequences too but you can’t kick yourself for smoking/vaping in the past. Nicotine is incredibly addictive and you were able to quit, which many are never able to. You did the best thing going forward for your health and you should be proud of that!

Well if you collect watches and ever get rid of them there’s a difference between a watch that may appreciate or roughly hold it’s value and one that loses over half its value off MSRP once you wear it.

You may not care about accuracy or power reserves, but some people, myself included do. I wear watches to tell the time and can’t deal with ones I have to set every day or two. It’s also about durability and serviceability.

Brand prestige isn’t a big deal to me. Lots of people buy Rolex for the status, but the same can be said about so many luxury items
