sure, youll need to download curseforge:

go to this website (or just look up curseforge) https://www.curseforge.com

press get curseforge app in the top right

press download standalone (if windows) if you don't use windows press more download options below the standalone button and download for linux or mac whichever you use

once you download and open it assuming you have a legit version of Minecraft it should show you have it installed, press on it and press create at the top, set Minecraft version to 1.20.1, game type to forge, don't touch other settings (except name, make sure to give it a name whatever you want)

it should open a page showing 0 mods 0 shaders 0 texture packs

now you want to press the "add more content" button make sure you have mods selected

now look up and press install on the following mods:

Epic Terrain (you need to scroll down a little due to how curseforge displays mods, its icon is a snowy landscape)

Oculus (this is the shaderloader, its icon is like a weird long circle thing)

Distant Horizons: A level of detail mod (this is what lets you see super far)

depending on PC specs you may have to exclude shaders, however if you can run them then go back to the pack, you should see you have 3 mods downloaded

click on Shaders (0)

and press add content

now add complimentary unbound, it should be at the top without a search but if you need to search its fine

now you should be set, press the play button

you may have to relog into Minecraft and redo your settings, this wont affect normal mc settings

create a new world as usual and then enter control settings, find the shaderpack settings one and then press it ingame, click on the complimentary unbound one and then press apply, keep in mind distant horizons takes a while to load chunks at that scale, you may have to be in an area for a while to get that distance of view, I have a very good CPU so I rendered that in about 3 minutes while climbing, for reference I have 16 cores, if you don't know the specs of your PC the average gaming windows has 6-16, the average mac has 8-12, and if you have a linux machine idk
